เท่าที่ฉันจำความได้วันแรกของการลืมตาดูโลก ผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งต้องทนทุกข์อุ้มท้องมานานถึง ๙ เดือน วันนี้ฉันจึงมีโอกาสใช้ชีวิตอยู่บนโลกกลมๆแห่งนี้ ยามที่ฉันยังแบเบาะจำได้ว่าเสียงทุ้มๆของชายคนหนึ่ง คอยร้องเพลงกล่อมให้ฉันนอน ยามที่ฉันร้องไห้จำได้ว่ามีผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งที่คอยป้อนน้ำนมอุ่นๆให้ฉันดื่ม ยามที่ฉันไม่สบายรู้สึกว่าผู้ชายคนนี้กับผู้หญิงคนนั้นต้องอดหลับอดนอน เพื่อคอยดูแลอาการป่วยให้กับฉัน ทุกครั้งที่ฉันตื่นนอนก็จะเห็นรอยยิ้มของผู้ชายคนหนึ่ง พร้อมกับพูดกับฉันว่า “หนูตื่นนอนแล้วหรือค่ะ” จากนั้นเขาก็ค่อยๆประคองฉันขึ้นบนบ่า ความรู้สึกในตอนนั้นสัมผัสถึงความรู้สึกอบอุ่นใจจากแผ่นหลังกว้างๆ ตอนนี้ฉันรู้แล้วล่ะว่าเขาทั้งสองคือใคร ผู้ชายคนหนึ่งชื่อว่า พ่อ ส่วนผู้หญิงอีกคนชื่อว่า แม่ วันนี้พระคุณที่ท่านทั้งสองคอยให้การโอบอุ้มฉันมา ด้วยสองมือเล็กๆ ด้วยดวงใจแห่งรัก มาวันนี้ฉันสัมผัสถึงความรักที่ยิ่งใหญ่เช่นนี้ได้ด้วยหัวใจที่รู้คุณตลอดกาล สองมือที่โอบอุ้มลูกตัวน้อย มาบัดนี้ลูกได้เติบโตเป็นต้นไม้ใหญ่ ที่จะแผ่กิ่งก้านและร่มใบให้แก่ผู้คน ลูกนั้นขออุทิศกายใจนี้ มอบให้แด่พระศาสนา อาศัยร่มพุทธบารมีของพระพุทธเจ้า ดลบันดาลให้พ่อและแม่พ้นจากวัฎฏแห่งทุกขสงสาร พ่อจ๋า วันนี้ลูกได้อาศัยธรรมานุภาพของพระธรรม ขัดเกลาจิตตนให้เป็นคนดี เพื่อให้ผลแห่งความดีนี้เป็นดั่งมิ่งมงคลสำหรับคุณพ่อ แม่จ๋า วันนี้ลูกได้อาศัยพระสังฆานุภาพแห่งพระสงฆ์ เจริญตามศีลาวัตรอันงดงามของสมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า เพื่อให้กุศลจิตนี้บันดาลให้คุณแม่ไร้ทุกข์ไร้โศกมาเบียดเบียน หากวันใดที่ลูกมีกำลังมากพอ ลูกขอตั้งปณิธานนำพาพ่อและแม่มุ่งสู่พระนิพพานโดยพลัน
